4. Learning to "THINK with your own brain", " to make your own DECISIONS" and " to be RESPONSIBLE for your own actions" .
You form several teams and you distribute the following questions:
--Do you think that all Cubans think for themselves?
--Do you think that everyone is able to freely make their own decisions?
--Do you think that they all take responsibility for their own acts?
--To what do you owe this attitude?
--How can this be improved upon?
In the summary you can compare answers and carry out the reflection with the teams.
A person must be free to think for himself, be able to take decisions that are best for him/her, without anyone intervening, and at the same time take responsibility for that decision taken. A person who tends to do what another one thinks and doesn’t act for himself, in the long run will cease being his own person, or will always be a lesser human being.
You can form a free nation only if it is made up of free human beings.
